The **Intourist-Zakarpattia Hotel** is ideally situated for travelers, being just a short walk from both the central railway and bus stations, as well as the city center. Its location provides guests with convenient access to transportation, local shops, cafes and the city's cultural attractions. The beautiful city views from the rooms add to the appeal of the hotel's strategic positioning.
Guests have generally positive things to say about the hotel's breakfast offerings. They appreciate the variety, taste and affordability of the meal options, which include dishes such as pancakes with cottage cheese and an assortment of drinks. Despite occasional service delays, the breakfast is well-received by most visitors.
The hotel's rooms are spacious and feature balconies that offer splendid views of the city, making them pleasant retreats for guests. While the decor is somewhat dated, the rooms are functional and include ample storage and comfortable beds. Modernized rooms, particularly the luxury or renovated ones, often include updated amenities like air conditioning.
Cleanliness receives mixed feedback. Some rooms are noted to be clean, warm and cozy with tidy bathrooms and bedding. The friendly and responsive staff at the reception further contribute to a positive experience. However, there are frequent complaints about dirty carpets, stained linens and overall neglect in hallways and common areas. Some guests also faced issues with room maintenance, including inconsistent heating, poor lighting and broken fixtures.
The hotel staff consistently earns high marks for their friendliness and helpful attitudes with receptionists, administrators and housekeepers frequently praised for their attentive and polite service. The positive interactions with staff are a notable highlight for many guests.
Free WiFi at the hotel poses significant challenges with many guests reporting unstable and weak connections, particularly in the rooms. Improving the internet service would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
Parking is a positive aspect with a large and conveniently located parking lot providing ample space for guests' vehicles. However, the parking service is paid and requires cash payment in the local currency, which could be inconvenient for some.
Despite a few mentions of comfy beds, the overall feedback on bedding is troubling. Guests often report old, saggy and dirty mattresses and bed linen. Issues with broken or uncomfortable beds, insufficient and unclean bedding and outdated furniture further detract from the comfort.
In summary, **Intourist-Zakarpattia Hotel** offers a convenient location, tasty breakfast options and friendly staff, making it a practical choice for travelers. However, it faces significant challenges with cleanliness, room maintenance, internet service and bedding quality. Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
