Studio 6 Toronto - Mississauga with Kitchenettes receives a blend of reviews, highlighting both strengths and areas needing improvement. Guests frequently praise the hotel's convenient and prime location, emphasizing its close proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, public transport options and Toronto Pearson Airport. This makes it an appealing choice for many travelers, especially those visiting Mississauga or needing easy access to major highways and bus stops. The quiet and safe neighborhood further enhances its appeal and many guests find it offers good value compared to staying directly in downtown Toronto.
The rooms at Studio 6 are noted for their spaciousness and useful kitchenette facilities, such as full-size fridges and coffee machines, which allow for convenient meal preparation. However, despite these positive attributes, guests often report significant cleanliness and maintenance issues. Complaints include dirty floors, stained bedsheets, pest infestations and strong odors from cigarette smoke and marijuana. Broken furniture, malfunctioning air conditioning and minimal housekeeping services add to the dissatisfaction for some visitors.
Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, its close proximity to local eateries is seen as a mitigating factor. Guests suggest that adding simple provisions like water bottles in the rooms could enhance their experience.
The staff generally receives high marks for their friendliness and helpfulness with many describing them as pleasant and accommodating. Efficient check-in and check-out processes are often noted, contributing positively to guests' overall experiences. However, there are occasional reports of inconsistent service quality with some isolated incidents of rudeness.
The beds are another mixed area. While some guests find the mattresses comfortable and the sheets clean, many others complain about uncomfortable, squeaky beds with insufficient, worn-out bedding. Issues with bed cleanliness and reports of bed bugs further mar the sleeping experience for some.
Overall, Studio 6 Toronto - Mississauga with Kitchenettes offers several appealing features such as a prime location and useful room amenities. However, potential guests should consider the reported issues with cleanliness, maintenance and bedding, which could significantly impact their stay.
