Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Best Western Plus Bentley Hotel enjoys high praise for its convenient location, making it a favored choice for both business travelers and families visiting central Lincoln. Its proximity to major roads and local amenities, along with ample parking, provide added convenience for guests. The tranquil surroundings complemented by accessible road links make it an effective base for exploring the nearby areas.
Breakfast at the hotel garners predominantly positive reviews with guests applauding the substantial variety and quality of offerings. The food quality, coupled with efficient service from the friendly staff, contributes to an overall satisfying breakfast experience. Despite some occasional issues with service pace and limited vegetarian/vegan options, the breakfast remains a standout feature for many patrons.
Dinner experiences are more mixed, yet still tend to lean toward the positive. Guests often commend the quality and presentation of the meals, particularly the value found in the Sunday roast lunch. However, service inconsistency and limited menu options are noted detractors. The atmosphere of the dining areas also varies with the bar generally providing a more pleasant environment than the main restaurant.
Guest rooms are frequently praised for their spaciousness and cleanliness, though some feedback mentions dated decor and occasional noise issues. Despite minor lapses in maintenance and decor, the overall comfort and value of the accommodations are widely recognized, particularly in the larger suites.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel generally receives good reviews, particularly regarding room upkeep. Some areas and facilities, however, display signs of wear and could benefit from refurbishments. The commitment of the housekeeping staff to maintaining a tidy environment is well-appreciated by guests.
The staff at the hotel are lauded for their overall friendliness and helpfulness, creating a welcoming and attentive atmosphere. Reviews particularly highlight the professionalism and efficiency of the reception and spa staff, enhancing the overall guest experience.
The hotel's free WiFi garners mixed reviews with many guests finding it reliable and strong, especially in rooms. However, connectivity issues and slow speeds are mentioned occasionally, suggesting room for improvement in the hotel's internet service.
The spa and leisure facilities present a blend of positive and negative aspects. Guests enjoy the variety of amenities, including the pool, sauna, steam room and beauty salon, despite some maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns. The fitness center is appreciated for its equipment and overall maintenance, though it faces similar remarks about needing updates.
Parking at the hotel receives favorable feedback for its ample spacing and easy accessibility. The availability of free parking is particularly noted as a significant perk by many guests.
Overall, the Best Western Plus Bentley Hotel provides a comfortable and convenient stay with notable strengths in its breakfast offerings, spacious rooms and friendly staff. While there are areas for improvement, especially in maintenance and dining service consistency, the majority of guest experiences remain positive.
