Minor grievances were noted, such as occasional non-functioning TVs or dated room decor, but these were outweighed by the positive remarks on room quality.
Breakfast at the hotel has received mixed feedback. While some guests praised it for being delicious and reasonably priced, others found it lacking in taste and variety. Despite these criticisms, the affordable option to include breakfast remains a perk for many visitors.

Astar Hotel boasts the allure of a four-star accommodation with a comfort level rivaling that of a foreign five-star hotel. It offers great value for money and is noted for its professional service, making it a solid choice for travelers seeking quality at a reasonable price. Regarded as a hotel with excellent cost performance, many guests appreciate its affordability without compromising on their overall stay experience.
However, some elements fall short of four-star expectations. Guests have pointed out that the sound insulation is subpar, with outside noise disrupting the otherwise pleasant ambiance. Additionally, the cleaning standards could use improvement, and there were complaints about the lack of complimentary mineral water, which came as an unexpected extra charge. While the staff provides overall good service, their English proficiency is an area identified for enhancement compared to other international four-star establishments.
Astar Hotel remains a favorable option for those focused on budget-friendly comfort, even though it may not entirely meet the standard that its four-star rating suggests.
