Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Microtel Inn and Suites Manistee has garnered acclaim for its highly convenient location at the crossroads of US31 and M55, providing easy access to local attractions such as the nearby casino, golf courses and special event venues like the Frankfort art fair. This strategic position makes it an excellent choice for travelers interested in day trips. In addition to its favorable location, guests have praised the clean and recently renovated rooms, enhancing the overall comfort and satisfaction of their stay.
The breakfast experience has received mixed feedback. Many guests appreciated the variety of hot and cold options and the availability of beverages like coffee, hot chocolate and juice around the clock. Descriptors such as outstanding and delicious were frequently used. However, some guests felt that the breakfast offerings lacked variety and healthier choices, describing them as sparse or disappointing at times. Despite these shortcomings, the complimentary breakfast service is generally considered a good value.
Rooms at the hotel are a point of mixed emotions among guests. The majority highlight the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations, noting the comfortable beds and well-maintained spaces. However, the rooms are often described as small, which, while not problematic for short stays, may be a consideration for some. Isolated maintenance issues, such as finding old food or experiencing noise from refrigerators, have been reported but are infrequent.
Microtel Inn and Suites Manistee shines with its superior cleanliness, frequently praised for maintaining a spotless environment across rooms, lobby and common areas. The hotel’s fresh and inviting atmosphere significantly contributes to a comfortable stay. Any minor issues, like occasional card reader malfunctions, do not overshadow the overall positive impression of the hotel’s maintenance.
The staff at Microtel Inn and Suites Manistee are highly commended for their warmth and helpfulness. Guests consistently describe the team as friendly, attentive and professional, particularly praising the front desk personnel for their exceptional service. The staff’s positive demeanor significantly enhances the guest experience, making check-in and other interactions particularly pleasant.
