Despite needing a refurbishment, the facilities were clean and the rooms were lovely. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

While the kids club was unfortunately closed during our stay, the 2 bedroom family villa provided a comfortable and spacious accommodation option. We were pleased to find that the hotel offered a gratis shuttle/boot service to transport guests around the island and beach access and a pool made for ideal family activities. The staff was especially welcoming and accommodating, even going so far as to pick up the kids on a golf cart from the boat. The gift for each child and superbe buffet of desserts on Christmas day were also a nice touch. While there wasn't much information about the activities available for kids within the resort, we suggest that the hotel consider offering more options like shell painting or beach exploring. Additionally, the smoking policy at the pool was disappointing as it detracted from the fun atmosphere. The kids equipment was mostly limited to a bucket and shovel for the beach, but we were pleasantly surprised to find several options on the kids menu. We did pay extra for an additional child for a mattress and breakfast, but overall it was an enjoyable experience for our family. If the restaurant could have a greater variety of Asian cuisines, it would be an added bonus. Despite some drawbacks, we will definitely come back soon with our family because the kids loved the swimming pool and there are plenty of baby crabs to keep them entertained. The hotel was also very accommodating to our young child's needs.
