Location

SAii Phi Phi Island Village is a beautiful paradise-like resort situated practically on the beach with a little village just outside. Guests loved the location and the setting, describing it as a dream-like and romantic place, like the Maldives of Thailand. The resort is oriented just to families and offers great facilities. The nearby town (5min walking) is also a plus because of the delicious and cheap food, as well as the island tours available. However, some guests found the limited options to go back and forth from the mainland an inconvenience. Nevertheless, the location of the resort is excellent in Phi Phi Island, one of the most beautiful places in the world with easy access to nearby beaches and jungle trails. The only downside is that the resort is far from the Tonsai pier and only reachable by boat, but guests found the location secluded, tranquil and perfect for relaxation. The surrounding environment, including the picturesque bay and crystal-clear water, is breathtaking, making this a popular choice for travelers seeking a peaceful and quiet getaway.

Breakfast

Some guests did mention encountering mosquitos, cockroaches or an unpleasant smell in their rooms, but overall, the accommodations are clean, friendly and beautiful. The price tag may be higher than some would expect, given the outdated furnishings in some rooms, but it all depends on your preferences and budget.

The pavilions are big and very clean and the staff ensure that everything is wonderful. The beach is very clean and the pool is good, although some tiles are missing. Generally, it's a beautiful place, but some guests mention that the cleaning could have been better, as some rooms were dirty when they arrived and towels were never changed. However, our ocean view room was large and spotlessly clean with a beautiful deck and the huts were clean and friendly too. There were some issues with the cleaning of the pool and flies were present, but overall, the SAii Phi Phi Island Village is a comfortable and clean place to stay.

Many guests found the staff to be super nice, attentive and always smiling with some staff going above and beyond to be helpful. Professional and highly organized, the staff is also described as kind and capable. While some reviewers found the staff to be indifferent or overworked, these experiences were outweighed by the positive interactions encountered by majority of guests. Some staff members were singled out for their exceptional service, including Sunisa, a server at the Beach restaurant and Woody, the manager who was able to fix any problems that arose. Despite some minor issues such as a lack of staff and inconsistent hospitality, the staff at SAii Phi Phi Island Village consistently receives high marks from guests.

Pool

SAii Phi Phi Island Village offers a magnificent stay with its beautiful pools, including two large beachfront pools and an outdoor pool. Guests can even enjoy a pool in the sea during high tide. The facilities are well-maintained with the exception of some missing or loose tiles. The pool setup complements the lovely bungalows, creating a serene atmosphere. The resort also provides many activities such as surfing, kayaking and biking, alongside a top-notch dive center. However, maintenance could improve, especially around the pool area. In addition, the resort needs to provide more sunbeds, triple the current amount is suggested and ensure better upkeep of poolside food and drink areas. Despite needing upgrades, the infinity pools overlook the ocean, making for an eye-catching panorama. For a quieter zone, guests can lounge by the Lazy Pool, although it may be a tad cold. The main restaurant pool area is also a pleasant option and happy hour specials should be extended to both pool areas. Overall, the pools and beach are the highlights of the resort, as they offer a peaceful setting for guests to relax and unwind.

Beach

SAii Phi Phi Island Village is located on a stunning white sand beach that is absolutely beautiful with crystal clear turquoise waters. It's the perfect spot to come and relax and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. The beach is private and there are little beach huts available to rent for a more secluded experience. There are plenty of activities available, such as surfing, kayaking, biking and even diving.

The hotel itself is very pretty and the food is good. They even welcomed us with live music upon arrival. However, some guests have complained about poor customer service and lack of information upon arrival. Additionally, when the tide is low, guests can't swim in the ocean.

Overall though, the beach is amazing and one of the most beautiful we've been to. It's the perfect location for anyone who wants to enjoy the clear waters of Phi Phi Island and the private beach and stunning position on the beach make it even more special. Just be aware that the tide heavily affects the bay and some guests have had issues with not enough recliners and umbrellas on the beachfront.
