Guests have had a generally positive experience at 'Pan Otaman', though there are areas for improvement. The dinner experience is a mix; while the food quality, featuring home-cooked dishes like dumplings and vareniki, is highly praised, the operational limitations of the restaurant are a drawback. With the restaurant being non-functional for over two years and the main cafe opening only at 11:00, guests often lack dinner options and have to seek alternatives.
The hotel's rooms impress most guests with their spacious, beautifully decorated interiors featuring solid wood furniture. Cleanliness in the rooms is commendable with guests appreciating the clean linen, fresh towels and especially the availability of hot water in bathrooms. Some rooms do show signs of wear, but they remain clean and functional, offering good value for the price. Minor maintenance issues and a lack of some amenities like personal hygiene products are areas pointed out for improvement. On balance, guests find the rooms comfortable and well-equipped.
Cleanliness across the hotel receives varied feedback. While many guests compliment the clean and cozy rooms, some have reported issues like dirty wallpaper, broken floors and old, dirty shower cabins. Complaints about dirty bedding and towels, cobwebs and smoky odors also appear. Despite these concerns, there is noticeable effort in some areas to maintain cleanliness.
The staff at 'Pan Otaman' are generally seen as friendly and attentive with many guests appreciating the warmth and politeness of their interactions. A notable mention goes to the administrator, who is frequently described as pleasant and helpful. However, some reviews highlight limited staff coverage with a security guard doubling as the administrator at times. Issues like adherence to mask-wearing measures also arose occasionally. Overall, guests feel welcomed by the staff, despite some operational limitations.
