Set in the heart of the historic fishing village of Port Isaac, The Slipway is a charming bed and breakfast overlooking the picturesque harbor. Boasting a rich history, exposed beams and stonework, the establishment offers seven modern rooms, each equipped with en-suite showers, central heating and HD screen TVs. Guests can enjoy the convenience of beverage-making facilities in their rooms, with some also featuring a mini-fridge. The Slipway's rooms are situated above the Bar & Restaurant, offering varying views of the vibrant café area or the back of the building.
Guests can choose from four sea view double rooms, two of which have balconies, providing stunning panoramic views of Port Isaac harbor and beyond. Two rooms at the rear of the bed and breakfast, one double with a lounge and one twin, offer village views. A specially-designed loft suite with a king-size bed is perfect for honeymoon getaways or special occasions. All rooms are fitted with anti-allergy, luxurious medium-firm mattresses for a comfortable night's sleep, as well as anti-allergenic bedding. Please note that the bed and breakfast is adults-only and does not accommodate children under 17 or pets.
The Slipway Bar & Restaurant is open from 10 am to 11 pm during the season, featuring an outdoor café that can seat up to 60 guests, with an additional 20 covers available inside the restaurant. Spread over two floors, the restaurant offers fantastic village views and serves traditional Cornish cream teas, a range of scones, cakes and homemade sandwiches for lunch, as well as more formal dining in the evenings. The Slipway specializes in local seafood, such as crab, lobster and mussels, sourced locally whenever possible. The bar also offers Cornish ciders, beers and soft drinks, with the quintessential seaside dish, fish & chips, served all day and available for eat-in or takeaway.
