The The Sanderling is a fantastic destination for those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a beautiful pool area and stunning beachfront location. Guests can choose from multiple on-site pools, including a family pool, indoor pool and a tranquil adult pool perfect for lounging or swimming laps. Many visitors appreciated the poolside beach umbrella and chair setups that made for a very comfortable adventure under the sun. However, some guests mentioned that getting towels can sometimes be an issue. Despite this minor inconvenience, guests praised the staff for being friendly and accommodating during their stay. The Lifesaving Station, while delivering good service, had some reports of dirty drinkware. Other than that, guests found the pools, hot tub and Jacuzzi to be a highlight of their overall experience. If you are planning a beach vacation and looking for an exceptional resort that offers relaxation and fun in equal measure, this is the place to be.

Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
The pool at the Holiday Inn Express Kitty Hawk - Outer Banks by IHG receives generally positive feedback from guests, with many appreciating its cleanliness and the unlimited towel service. It becomes a particular favorite for families, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of children and grandchildren who loved spending time there. The pool and grill area are attractively lit, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to relax. The outdoor dining area near the pool is also enjoyed, adding to the pleasant experience. Despite a few comments about its small size and the absence of a restroom in the pool area, many guests find it perfect for a quick dip, especially when ocean waters are too cold. A few noted that the pool's opening time was later than they preferred and there were isolated incidents of uncleanliness, but overall, the pool is considered a nice amenity by visitors.
