The hotel boasts spacious and beautifully decorated rooms in an old colonial plantation setting and the staff is exceptional, described as friendly, attentive and always very helpful. The hotel's general manager and his team go above and beyond to assist guests, making the hotel stand out. Despite a few negative reviews, overall, Belo Monte Hotel and Museum provides an amazing environment and a delightful stay.
