Nuevo Astur Spa boasts a variety of pools that have generally received high praise from guests. The outdoor pool is especially noted for its impressive size with many reviewers highlighting its expansive and well-maintained condition. This larger pool is complemented by a very pleasant surrounding area, complete with ample loungers for relaxation. Guests frequently describe the pool area as clean, well-maintained and delightful, contributing to an overall positive experience.
The facility also features a small indoor heated pool with some pressure jets, which adds a spa-like experience, though it's noted that this pool is somewhat small and can be overshadowed by its larger outdoor counterpart. Despite the indoor pool’s limited size, the combined pool and spa services are considered phenomenal by visitors.
However, a recurring critique is the lack of covered access from the hotel to the spa area, which can be inconvenient, especially in colder conditions. Moreover, some guests have pointed out that the indoor pool area tends to be shaded for most of the afternoon, which could be less appealing for those seeking sunlit swim time.
Overall, guests frequently recommend the hotel for its excellent pool facilities, appreciating the large, clean and well-situated pool areas that cater to both relaxation and recreational needs.
