Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Kyriad Blois Nord enjoys a quiet and convenient location on the outskirts of the city, advantageous for travelers seeking tranquility and easy access to the highway. The hotel's proximity to the A10 and expressway facilitates easy travel, making it a strategic stopover for road travelers and those visiting nearby castles. The setting, despite being in an industrial area, offers a peaceful atmosphere likened by some to being in nature. Independent "motel-style" rooms with direct outdoor access further contribute to this sense of tranquility. Some distance from the city center, currently undergoing renovations and parking amenities might be affected.
The breakfast at Kyriad Blois Nord earns high praise for its variety, quality and affordability. Guests appreciate the wide selection, citing the excellent bread and pastries and the freshness of the food. The breakfast staff's friendliness enhances the experience, offering a pleasant start to the day.
While the on-site restaurant has a thoughtfully designed dinner menu, it frequently closes on weekends and Fridays, sometimes leaving guests to seek alternative dining options in crowded local restaurants. Reviews also mention the limited choices and high cost of the dinner buffet. Despite these drawbacks, staff are noted for their helpfulness, often finding other food solutions when the restaurant is not operational.
The rooms at Kyriad Blois Nord are clean and functional with many guests finding them to meet essential comfort needs. Some rooms, especially those facing the garden, are particularly quiet. Pet owners appreciate the rooms with direct outdoor access. However, the hotel shows signs of aging, notably in the bathrooms, which could benefit from renovation. Room sizes vary with some being spacious and air-conditioned, while others are smaller. Issues such as ventilation noise, cigarette odors and maintenance problems like non-functional TVs have been reported.
Cleanliness receives mixed reviews; while many guests find the rooms neat and well-maintained, bathrooms often receive criticism for needing a more thorough cleaning. Some guests reported issues like cobwebs, dust and even pests.
The staff at Kyriad Blois Nord stand out for their exceptional service. They are frequently described as friendly, accommodating and professional with guests noting the warm welcomes and attentive assistance. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness consistently enhance the guest experience.
Parking is another strong point with ample space directly in front of the rooms and designated spaces for disabled individuals. The free, guarded parking lot adds to the sense of security, ensuring convenience for travelers.
Overall, Kyriad Blois Nord offers a reliable and comfortable stay with commendable service, a pleasant breakfast and convenient parking. The hotel could improve by addressing some maintenance issues and enhancing its dinner service.
