The pool at The Johnson Brisbane - Art Series has received a significant amount of praise from guests, who describe it as a large and fantastic feature of the hotel. The pool area itself is noted for being beautifully designed, comfortable and well-furnished, making it an inviting spot to relax and soak up the sun. Guests appreciate the spacious pool deck and the super comfy lounge beds, which enhance the overall experience.
Although there are no on-site dining options, the surrounding areas offer plenty of great places to eat and delivery services like Uber Eats are readily available. The pool, described as a massive lap pool, offers a stunning ambiance with ample chair beds for sunbathing. It’s also been highlighted for its cleanliness and modern aesthetic.
However, there are a few considerations to keep in mind. The pool is not heated, which might be an issue during winter, especially for families with children. Additionally, some guests noted that the pool lights inside could pose a safety concern during nighttime use. Despite these minor drawbacks, the pool’s overall appeal, complemented by excellent gym facilities and spacious rooms, contributes to a highly enjoyable stay at the hotel.

The Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane boasts a stunning pool area with options to swim in the heated outdoor pool or on the rooftop pool that offers amazing views of Brisbane. Guests can enjoy a swim until late and despite some reviews commenting on the pool area looking tired, it still received praises for being lovely and amazing. While some guests felt that the pool could be cleaner, others loved the rooftop view and enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable seating provided in the courtyard. The hotel seems to be family-friendly and offers a great breakfast. However, some reviewers expressed concerns over the lack of seating and shade around the pool with reports of the pool being overcrowded and overtaken by inconsiderate guests. Despite these minor issues, the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane's pool options offer a great spot to soak up some sun or relax with a refreshing swim.
