The area's many bars, restaurants and coffee shops provide ample dining and entertainment options within walking distance.
Guests appreciate the hotel's visually striking college-themed decor and charming ambiance. Rooms are noted for their unique design, comfortable beds and some come with stunning views of the city and mountains. The Skyview room, in particular, offers fantastic vistas. Overall cleanliness and comfort are frequently praised, though some inconsistencies in room size, cleanliness and maintenance are mentioned.
The hotel's rooftop bar, The Mountaineering Club, is a standout feature, highly praised for its panoramic views and vibrant atmosphere. Although the rooftop menu is limited, the bartenders and overall service receive high marks. The on-site coffee shop, Poindexters, receives mixed feedback; while the coffee quality is appreciated, the breakfast experience has room for improvement in terms of consistency and availability.
Staff at Graduate Seattle are highly commended for their friendliness and professionalism, significantly contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The valet service stands out for its excellence, although the high costs and absence of self-parking options have drawn criticism.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, generally earning positive feedback for its speed and reliability, though there are occasional reports of spotty coverage. The gym, albeit clean, is small and lacks equipment and proper amenities, suggesting a need for upgrades.
Graduate Seattle is recommended for families, providing a safe and accommodating environment for children. The vibrant nightlife, especially the rooftop bar, offers an exciting experience, contributing to the overall dynamic atmosphere, despite some age restrictions in the evening.
Overall, Graduate Seattle stands out for its excellent location, unique decor and outstanding staff service, though it has areas where it could improve, particularly in dining options, room maintenance and amenities.
