Fairmont El San Juan Hotel boasts an amazing location that guests just can't stop raving about. Its convenient location brings the airport and other areas in San Juan within easy reach. Guests love the easy access to the beach with some describing it as just a few steps away. The hotel is centrally located and provides a private entrance to the beach. Getting around the area is a breeze with taxis and Ubers readily available, making it easy to explore Old San Juan and other attractions. This convenient location also comes with the added bonus of being in a safe area with restaurants and shops nearby. The pools and beach are wonderful, ensuring guests enjoy everything that this perfectly located hotel has to offer.
Guests at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel had mixed experiences with the breakfast options available. Some found the breakfast to be enjoyable with a nice variety of foods and excellent servers. The staff also hosts daily activities specifically for kids, ensuring they're entertained throughout their stay. The best part? We never had to leave the hotel to keep our kids occupied.
For families with younger children, El San Juan is ideal. We could be with our little ones without needing to leave the hotel or be in an area for adults only. However, there were plenty of options for all traveler types. With lots of pools and the beach right close by, we always had a place to take the kids.
The only downside to our stay was the sound of crying children on the floor below us, which kept us up at night. Despite this, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fairmont El San Juan Hotel for families looking for a fun, kid-friendly vacation spot.

The stunning decor and amazing cocktails hit the spot and the live music in the lobby is truly exciting. Though there were some issues with noise from other guests partying up after midnight, the property's access to a casino, bars open all night with good music and lovely restaurants made for a great time. However, it can get super noisy on weekends and some guests found it difficult to access the bar during the New Year's party or the hotel's own disco. But overall, the hotel restaurants, casino and entertainment were delicious and/or so much fun!
