Deluxe Double Room with Sea View The deluxe rooms have a large bay window with 2 armchairs where guests can enjoy the panoramic sea views. The king sized bed has a 1000 pocket sprung mattress. There is a 44 inch Smart flat-screen TV, bathrobes, complimentary toiletries an tea and coffee tray with fruit teas, hot chocolate and biscuits. These rooms are located on 1st and 2nd floors and are accessed via the stairs.

Two-Bedroom Apartment There is an open plan private kitchen and lounge which features a 50 inch Smart Flat-Screen TV and gas fire. There are wood floors throughout the property. Bedroom one has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed. This apartment is located in the basement and therefore does not have views. It is next door to the main B&B.

The clean and well-kept rooms are in easy reach of the beach and the castle, which are just a 10-minute walk away. Guests can enjoy beautiful sea views from some of the rooms, but not all. For those who prefer a central location, The Helaina hotel is located on the north bay, which is ideal for looking around Scarborough. However, the location may not be suitable for everyone, as some guests found the climb from the town too much. Overall, The Helaina is a fantastic hotel, brilliantly situated for all the best things that Scarborough has to offer.

The bathroom shower rooms are exceptional and guests appreciate the lovely robes and towels. Although some rooms may be small, they are well-appointed with tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits, mini bar fridges and honesty alcohol bars. The staff are lovely and the hotel is located ideally with lovely views. The Penthouse is fantastic and the decor throughout the hotel is beautiful. Overall, The Helaina is a quality accommodation with modern and clean decor, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and spectacular views.
