The Sauerland Alpin Hotel is a great choice for those traveling with their furry friends. The hotel is very dog-friendly and even has a separate room where dogs are allowed to hang out with their owners. The staff is also accommodating with one guest praising the waiter who brought their furry friend to the room. However, it's important to note that dogs were sometimes heard barking in the hallways and rooms. The hotel and the surrounding area are both very welcoming to dogs with many guests bringing their pets without any problems. The rooms are clean and spacious, perfect for those traveling with dogs. It's suggested that the hotel could do a better job of communicating their rules regarding where dogs are allowed, as one guest was only informed upon check-in that their dog couldn't join them in the restaurant. Overall, the Sauerland Alpin Hotel is highly recommended for travelers who want to bring their four-legged friends along for the journey.
