Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel is a great choice for those attending events at the nearby NEC or Resorts World Arena with a convenient location close to the train station and airport. Guests rave about the modern, clean rooms and the fabulous staff at breakfast. While the breakfast selection is impressive, some guests found the buffet items cold and there were limited options for non-pork eaters. The hotel's dining options received mixed reviews with some enjoying the food in the bar while others found the Arbor buffet to be terrible and the a la carte menu lacking in options. The hotel's leisure facilities, particularly the pool and spa area, are highly praised by guests. The hotel's parking options are ample but come at a cost, which some guests found expensive. The beds are generally comfortable, although some guests found them too hard. While the hotel is described as great, it is also seen as an overpriced, upmarket Premier Inn rather than a luxury five-star accommodation. The hotel is not sufficiently accessible for wheelchair users with no easy route to an accessible toilet and a bed that is too high.
