Nordby Hotell offers a variety of parking options to its guests with several positive aspects highlighted in the reviews. Many guests appreciated the convenience of free parking available right outside their rooms or within the hotel's property. This feature was frequently cited as a benefit, making it easy for guests to access their vehicles and unload luggage. The proximity to the parking spaces was also noted as a plus, allowing for quick and easy access, especially useful when staying close to key amenities like the shopping center.
However, despite these positive remarks, there were some recurring issues mentioned regarding the availability of parking. Scarcity of parking spaces was a common concern, particularly during peak times with some guests having to resort to unconventional parking solutions, such as parking on the lawn. The limited number of marked spaces in the courtyard was another downside pointed out by visitors. Noise from vehicles passing over steel plates also detracted from the otherwise peaceful environment for some guests.
Overall, while Nordby Hotell provides convenient and free parking options that are highly valued by many guests, improvements are necessary to address the limited availability and minimize noise disruptions.

Thon Hotel Halden offers convenient nighttime parking, allowing guests to park for free after hours. While the paid parking during the day is noted to be pricey, it provides a secure option for those traveling with cars. However, some guests have mentioned that the parking lot is both small and situated at a considerable distance from the hotel. This can be inconvenient, particularly for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage. Despite these drawbacks, the inclusion of free night parking is a valued feature for many visitors.
