The peacefulness of the hotel creates the perfect balance compared to the lively port ambiance. The well-maintained garden provides an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere and peacefulness. The spacious and comfortable guest rooms are surrounded by beautiful neoclassical buildings and attractive garden and terrace settings with hammocks and chairs. While some rooms needed a little re-furnishing or maintenance, most were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful and the lovely host and great staff go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and happy. The beds are comfortable with soft pillows and most guests enjoyed a good night's sleep. While some guests experienced issues with dirty rooms and linen, bugs on their beds, leaky sinks and outdated air conditioning systems, the majority of guests had a positive experience and found the beds to be comfortable.
