Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Reich offers a well-rounded and pleasant experience, especially praised for its location, breakfast and dining options and the friendliness of its staff.
Situated just 800 meters from the town center, Hotel Reich's location is both central and serene, making it an ideal base for exploring the Engadine region. Accessibility is a key feature with a bus stop in front of the hotel and ample, free parking spaces right next to the building. This makes the hotel a convenient choice for road-trippers, motorcyclists and winter sports enthusiasts. Despite being close to the main road and a gas station, the hotel remains pleasantly quiet, offering picturesque views of the alpine panorama.
Breakfast at Hotel Reich is frequently described as rich and satisfying, featuring a variety of sweet and savory options like freshly cooked eggs, braided bread and excellent coffee. While some guests noted that the breakfast selection could be more extensive, it generally meets expectations and provides a good start to the day.
The dining experience at Hotel Reich receives consistent high praise with many guests highlighting the quality and taste of the food. Special mentions go to the pizza, which is a favorite among guests and other well-prepared regional dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant, featuring a pleasant garden and terrace, adds to the enjoyable dining experience.
Rooms at Hotel Reich garner mixed reviews. Positively, guests often mention the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort of the beds, along with beautiful views from balconies or terraces. However, the outdated furnishings and lack of certain amenities like hairdryers and additional waste bins were common criticisms. Additionally, some rooms showed signs of wear and tear, which could benefit from updates to enhance the overall guest experience.
Cleanliness across the hotel is generally well-regarded with frequent praises for clean towels, linens and bathrooms. While occasional lapses were noted, such as unemptied waste bins or stains, the overall cleanliness and cozy atmosphere contribute positively to the stay.
The hotel's staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and attentive, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Despite occasional issues with language barriers and staff availability, the team's dedication to ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay shines through.
Family travelers find Hotel Reich particularly accommodating with spacious rooms and amenities that cater to families and even their pets. The hotel also supports cycling activities with dedicated bike storage facilities.
For winter sports enthusiasts and skiers, the hotel's location is ideal, providing easy access to nearby ski slopes and serving as a perfect starting point for various ski resorts. The charming, small hotel ambiance combined with friendly staff makes for a welcoming experience.
Overall, Hotel Reich offers a very positive experience for guests with standout features in location, dining and staff friendliness, making it a recommended choice for travelers in the region.
