Although there were some isolated instances of barking noise from neighbor dogs, overall, guests had a great experience relaxing with their pets at this resort. The hotel front desk was accommodating when guests requested late check-out. Pet lovers found the property nice and pet-friendly.

The Strand - A Boutique Resort is a great choice for a beach getaway with an excellent location right on the beach. Many attractions, restaurants and activities are within walking distance, making it very convenient. The breakfast buffet has varied and delicious hot cooked items that change every day, although some guests found the breakfast area small and the food mediocre. The hotel offers clean and well-designed rooms, especially the spacious King Suites with large balconies and great views. The staff is exceptional, friendly, professional and informative, providing great service. The outdoor pool and hot tub area is well maintained and provides beach access, although a few guests found it relatively small and the bar closed early. The beach is perfect with amazing oceanfront views and direct access. The beds are generally comfortable, earning high marks of approval, but some guest rooms may suffer from mold, old furniture and unpleasant smells. While some guests have reported dirty hallways and rooms, others have praised the hotel for being very clean overall. Given the great value for money, we recommend giving The Strand a try during your next stay in the area.
