Parking at The Telstar has generated a mix of opinions. On the positive side, the hotel provides free parking, which many guests find extremely convenient and a definite bonus. The availability of parking permits for nearby areas adds to the ease, making it possible to find free parking near the city center. There is parking behind the guesthouse, which some reviewers appreciate for its convenience, despite being somewhat tight. For those with more compact vehicles, this parking arrangement can be quite manageable.
However, some guests have noted challenges when it comes to parking. The tightness of the parking spaces is a recurring theme, particularly for those with larger cars. Maneuvering can be tricky and the quirky arrangement of the parking layout requires some navigation skills. Limited parking spaces often mean it's a first-come, first-served situation, which can be frustrating during peak times. Despite these issues, the presence of parking still adds value to the stay for many, especially given its free availability.

The Oakcliffe offers guests the convenience of complimentary onsite parking, which many find to be a valuable perk, especially in a city setting. Despite the limited number of spots, accommodating approximately 3-4 cars, the availability of off-road parking is often seen as a bonus. While the parking spaces are admittedly tight, visitors appreciate the option to park at the hotel and the courtesy of being allowed to leave their vehicle for a few hours after check-out. This flexibility is particularly helpful for those looking to explore the nearby station and city center without the immediate hassle of moving their car. However, those with larger vehicles may face some challenges maneuvering into the snug spots, though many find it manageable with a bit of patience. Overall, the parking situation at The Oakcliffe, though limited, provides essential accessibility and convenience for its guests, enhancing their overall stay experience.
