Hotel Heemskerk is an ideal destination for travelers with dogs, offering several pet-friendly amenities and services. Guests appreciate that dogs are warmly welcomed and allowed in many areas of the hotel, making it a great choice for pet owners. The facilities are noted as being very conducive for dogs with special rooms available that even include garden access, which many find perfect for their pets. There are also beautiful walking spots right behind the hotel, such as a serene pond, providing a lovely place for dog walks.
However, it's important to note a few restrictions and costs. Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, leading some guests to forget and be caught off guard. Additionally, there is a €20 per night fee for pets, which some consider quite steep. Despite these points, the hotel continues to be a favored spot for many pet owners who appreciate the warm welcome and the enjoyable environment for their dogs.
