Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel La Cumbrecita enjoys a prime location nestled within a picturesque park, offering guests a serene and scenic environment. The beautiful surroundings and recreational spaces are frequently praised with the hotel's setting providing incredible views. However, some guests noted that dining options are limited at night due to the hotel's slightly remote location.
Breakfast at the hotel receives mixed reviews. Many guests appreciate the varied and abundant offerings, often describing the breakfast experience as very good or spectacular. Nonetheless, there are consistent critiques regarding limited food availability, insufficient restocking and additional charges for items like eggs and water refills. Some guests also felt that breakfast quality did not align with the price paid and discrepancies existed between the actual offerings and the advertised menu.
The rooms at Hotel La Cumbrecita are lauded for their comfort and spaciousness with many guests highlighting the cozy king-sized beds and the stunning views from higher floors. Cleanliness is another strong point with rooms often described as very clean and well-equipped. While the renovated bathrooms receive positive remarks, some maintenance issues like air conditioning and water spillage from showers were noted. Additionally, a few guests mentioned a damp smell and limited TV services.
Hotel cleanliness is generally well-regarded with facilities and tableware frequently noted for their excellent upkeep. However, some reviews pointed out inconsistencies in room-specific cleaning quality, such as dust under furniture and overlooked used tissues. Despite these minor issues, the hotel's overall cleanliness is commendable, though more consistent and detailed cleaning efforts would enhance guest satisfaction.
The staff at Hotel La Cumbrecita are a significant highlight with many guests praising their friendliness and helpfulness. Receptionists Magalí, Stephi and Paula, in particular, receive high marks for their attentive service, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hospitality team's kind and supportive nature contributes significantly to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere and positive guest experiences.
The pool and other recreational facilities at Hotel La Cumbrecita stand out as major assets. The large, well-maintained swimming pool, along with ample tables and sun loungers, provides a comfortable and relaxing experience. Additional amenities like the pool table, tennis court and ping pong facilities further enhance the hotel's appeal. Although a few guests suggested potential improvements, the consensus is that the pool area is a charming and well-kept feature.
Overall, Hotel La Cumbrecita offers a delightful stay with its exceptional location, comfortable rooms and excellent staff service, though some areas such as breakfast offerings and room maintenance could benefit from further attention.
