Karat Suites is the perfect location for those who want to explore Santorini away from the main tourist areas. The hotel is situated in a quiet and non-touristy area, yet conveniently only a 5-7 minute walk from the main square in Messaria. It is very centric and close to everything, making it easy to catch a bus or taxi to explore the island. For those with their own transport, it's the perfect place to stay, located literally in the middle of the island and a short 5-10 minute drive from Fira. The location is also ideal for jumping around the island. However, the location can be tricky to find without GPS and some guests found it difficult to access due to the neighborhood still being under construction. While some guests found the location a bit far from the bus station, others found it very central and satisfyingly close to shops and the airport. Overall, Karat Suites is the ideal location for those who want to explore Santorini freely and at their own pace.
