Breakfast
Guests have mixed reviews about the breakfast at The Ven at Embassy Row. While some find it mediocre, others attribute the limited offerings to COVID restrictions. Guests are only allowed to select three items from the breakfast set up, which includes a voucher for a beverage. Additionally, some guests were disappointed to learn that breakfast was not included and had to pay for wifi. However, there are good breakfast options nearby if the hotel's offering doesn't meet their expectations. Overall, the breakfast experience at The Ven at Embassy Row is decent, but there may be room for improvement.

Some reviews did mention noise from adjoining rooms or a barking dog, but others found their rooms to be quiet and relaxing. The hotel's amenities, such as flat-screen TVs, comfortable beds with four pillows and floor-length mirrors were also well-received. Staff
When it comes to service, guests of The Ven at Embassy Row, Washington, D.C. have nothing but positive things to say. Helpful and friendly staff seem to be the norm at this hotel and many guests have mentioned individuals by name who went above and beyond for them, such as Elias at the front desk, Julio in the garage and the bartender at the main bar. Even requests for late checkout were responded to very well. Guests noted that they felt safe in the location and the hotel was clean and with friendly staff. The front desk team and night shift attendant were specifically mentioned as being amazing and the employees were overall accommodating, pleasant and professional. The only negative comment about staff came from somebody unhappy with their experience receiving tea from the bar instead of the coffee shop. Other than that, guests found the staff to be top notch, whether they worked in the coffee shop, the garage or anywhere else in the hotel. Even the bracelet idea (presumably a bracelet that identifies guests as staying at the hotel) was considered great by one happy guest. Non-English speaking guests also found the staff to be caring and helpful, making their stays that much more enjoyable.

Pool

The hotel boasts both an outdoor and rooftop pool, both of which received positive comments from guests. The pool area was described as nice and a great highlight of the hotel. However, some guests did note that the rooftop pool was small and easily crowded.

One downside of the pool was that it was sometimes full of party-goers drinking and playing loud music not suitable for children, so families should keep this in mind. Additionally, some guests felt that the pool area could have been cleaner.

It's worth noting that pool hours are limited from 11am-5pm, but guests still found the rooftop pool to be perfect for summer days. Rooms with a view of the city were praised, although some guests were disappointed with the bathroom which had a shower curtain rather than a door.

Overall, if you're looking for a hotel with a pool in Washington D.C., The Ven at Embassy Row is a strong contender with its two pool options and generally positive guest reviews.
