The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and were always inviting. Overall, the experience was better than expected due to the helpful nature of the staff. Though there was one instance of a condescending interaction with a staff member, it did not hinder our stay. The woman who checked us in was the only exception to the overwhelmingly positive staff interactions we had. Other than that, the staff was wonderful - helpful, kind, accommodating and always pleasant. The hotel's cleanliness was also noted by guests, alongside the friendly service. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located, had fun amenities and fantastic staff. Guests also enjoyed the pool, where the staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, everything was amazing and we had no dislikes at all. Special shoutout to the manager, who was really nice and apologetic. Though the beds and blankets could have been better, the staff still tried to help us in recommending restaurants. We highly recommend The Colonies at Williamsburg for anyone looking for a hotel with a great staff.
