However, some find the breakfast monotonous with limited choices, occasional inedible food and issues with food station layout and seating availability, especially during weekends and holidays.
The rooms at Moxy Taichung blend modern aesthetics and thoughtful design, though they are often noted as small and sometimes cramped. Despite this, rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable and feature efficient use of space with modern facilities and amenities. The rooftop bar and high-rise views further enhance the stay.
Cleanliness is a standout feature with guests frequently highlighting the neat and tidy environment, clean bedding and well-maintained rooms. The hotel's modern decor, appealing to a younger crowd and eco-friendly efforts such as free sparkling water and welcome drinks contribute to a positive experience. Minor issues with dust and bathroom maintenance are mentioned but do not dominate the feedback.
Staff receive mixed reviews. Many guests appreciate the friendly, attentive and professional demeanor, efficient check-in and check-out procedures and thorough housekeeping. However, inconsistencies are noted with some reports of unfriendly front desk staff, poor service during peak times and a lack of initiative in communicating essential information.
