Makronisos Holiday Village in Ayia Napa is praised for its strategic location near stunning beaches like Makronisos and Landa, offering a tranquil retreat with easy access to the area's attractions such as the local Marina and water park. The serene environment, complemented by lush green surroundings and a well-maintained pool, makes it a favored spot for a relaxing getaway. The accommodations are spacious, clean, and well-designed, often equipped with handy kitchen facilities and balconies providing views of the pool or sea. The staff are consistently highlighted for their exceptional friendliness and attentiveness, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
On-site dining receives mixed reviews; breakfast fulfills basic expectations with friendly service but could benefit from more variety to cater to international tastes. Dinner also has its moments of appreciation, particularly during themed events like BBQ nights, though it suffers from occasional monotony in the menu selection. Guests note the convenience of on-property dining options along with the helpful staff who enhance the experience.
The large swimming pool stands out as a central feature, being well-maintained and a hit with both adults and children for its cleanliness and ample space. However, the Wi-Fi connectivity is less reliable, with strong access in communal areas but weaker signals in the rooms, and thus could use improvement to meet modern connectivity expectations. Beds vary in comfort level, with some guests enjoying spacious, comfortable options while others find issues with firmness and arrangement.
While Makronisos Holiday Village offers clean facilities and commendable staff, it may not meet every expectation for pristine conditions. Its value for money and peaceful setting make it a popular choice, particularly for those prioritizing relaxation and friendly service. Improvements in dining variety, consistent Wi-Fi, and mattress quality would further enhance the guest experience. Overall, Makronisos Holiday Village is well-regarded for its strategic location, excellent staff, and serene environment, promising a relaxing getaway near Cyprus's coastline.

The Dome Beach Marina Hotel & Resort has received mixed feedback regarding its four-star rating. Many guests have noted that the hotel and its rooms do not meet the expectations of a four-star establishment. Several reviews suggest that the hotel does not look or feel like a four-star property with some even comparing it unfavorably to three-star hotels. Visitors have noted that the hallways and rooms lack the refinement typically associated with a higher star rating. Despite these concerns, there are positive remarks about the hotel's amenities and services with some guests acknowledging its strengths. However, overall sentiment suggests that the hotel may fall short of delivering the full four-star experience, pointing to a disparity between the perceived quality and the official rating.

The Asterias Beach Hotel is a mixed bag when it comes to guest reviews. While some have reported issues such as ants in the bathroom or non-alcoholic drinks not being included in dinner, others have found it to be quite a good value for money, especially during COVID times. However, despite its four-star rating, some guests didn't feel like it lived up to their expectations. That being said, there are still plenty of positive reviews recommending the hotel and praising its staff and services. Ultimately, it seems that while the Asterias Beach Hotel may have its downsides, it's still a decent option for those looking for an affordable stay in a four-star hotel.
