Hotel Janków has been positively received for several notable aspects, making it an appealing choice for many travelers. The hotel enjoys a highly favorable and strategic central location, close to major transportation hubs and highways, providing easy access to the city center, old town and notable historical sites. This makes it a convenient option for both leisure and business travelers.
Breakfast at the hotel is generally well-received with guests describing it as delicious, varied and fresh. The buffet format and early breakfast hours starting at 6:30 am are particularly appreciated, as well as the option for a packed breakfast for early departures. Despite some occasional comments on the lack of variety and availability of certain items, the overall sentiment towards breakfast is positive.
The hotel's dinner service is praised for the quality and flavor of the food with reasonably priced, tasty dishes receiving commendations. However, a recurrent issue is the restaurant's unavailability during weekends and events like weddings, which can be inconvenient for guests expecting dining options in the evening.
Rooms at Hotel Janków are notably spacious with bright and clean interiors, large bathrooms and comfortable bedding. Guests find the rooms suitable for both families and short stays. However, there are areas for improvement, such as updating dated furnishings, enhancing soundproofing and adding amenities like refrigerators and kettles. Some rooms also face issues with temperature control and inconsistent cleanliness.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel is generally commendable with guests noticing well-maintained rooms and bathrooms, contributing to an overall tidy environment. The staff at Hotel Janków receive high praise for their friendliness, efficiency and helpfulness, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Fluency in English and Polish further facilitates smooth communication with international travelers.
While the free parking is a convenient and appreciated feature, ample and generally hassle-free, occasional events like weddings might reduce parking availability. The WiFi service, however, is a notable downside with many guests experiencing weak and unreliable connectivity, particularly in rooms on higher floors.
Overall, Hotel Janków provides a comfortable and pleasant stay, bolstered by its prime location, quality breakfast, spacious rooms and exceptional staff service, despite some areas needing improvement, particularly in WiFi connectivity and room updates.
