Laerte Palace Hotel, situated strategically in front of the Mogliano Veneto train station, offers guests a convenient base for exploring Venice while providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. The location is lauded for its quiet environment and accessibility to local amenities such as cafes, restaurants, and shops. The friendly and attentive staff play a pivotal role in enhancing guests' stays, frequently receiving high praise for their professionalism and helpfulness, contributing significantly to the hotel's value for money.
Breakfast at the hotel is typically well received, with guests enjoying a rich selection and variety of both sweet and savory options. The abundance of homemade pastries and warm croissants is particularly appreciated. While most guests find the breakfast satisfactory, some mention a need for broader selection and fresher, higher-quality products.
The rooms provide a mixed experience: numerous guests appreciate the spaciousness and cleanliness, and comfortable beds are often commended. Nevertheless, the dated furnishings and occasional maintenance issues hint at the need for updates, with some rooms lacking in size and modern amenities.
Cleanliness reviews reveal mixed opinions, with many guests praising the neatness of the rooms and the functionality of amenities like air conditioning and Wi-Fi. However, inconsistencies in cleaning services are noted by several visitors, highlighting areas that require improvement.
The internet service varies in effectiveness, with some guests satisfied with stable Wi-Fi while others experience difficulties with signal reliability. Parking options are convenient with both free and reserved spaces available, although the limited on-site spots can be challenging at peak times.
Beds at the hotel elicit diverse feedback; while numerous guests find them comfortable, others describe issues with mattress quality. Positive mentions of restful nights indicate variability in personal preferences.
The hotel's self-description as a four-star establishment is contested by some reviews, with guests frequently pointing out that certain amenities and overall maintenance fall short of expectations, suggesting a rating closer to three stars may be more accurate. Despite areas needing improvement, Laerte Palace Hotel remains an appealing option for travelers, largely due to its location, staff, and certain aspects of comfort.
