If you're looking for a hotel with easy access to nightlife, Holiday Inn Zilina might be the perfect choice for you. Although some guests report that the hotel is located in a quiet area and a bit far from the city center, a snowy view of Zilina at night compensates for that. However, if you're lucky enough to stay during a party night, you won't need to go far to enjoy some fun. The hotel hosts parties on the top floor, complete with booming music that lasts until the early hours of the morning. While some guests complained about the noise and disturbance, others enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere. Just be aware that there might be party noise all night and the hotel staff might not inform you beforehand. Additionally, the parking can be a bit tricky and the lot is often crowded and unmarked, so be sure to ask the reception for help.

Nestled in a bustling city center, Hotel Slovakia offers easy access to a plethora of cafes, shops and entertainment options. Its prime location eliminates the need for a car with plenty of dining and nightlife venues just steps away. Guests can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with nearby pubs, wine bars and popular areas like Aupark and Žilina square within walking distance.
However, the convenience comes with a significant downside: noise. Numerous reviews highlight issues with sound insulation, leaving guests disturbed by street noise, loud conversations and music from nearby nightclubs and the hotel's own bar and disco. Nighttime peace is often compromised, especially when events like weddings extend their festivities well into the morning. The presence of intoxicated individuals around the hotel further exacerbates this issue, making it difficult for some guests to catch a good night's sleep.
While the hotel's vintage furniture from the 70s and somewhat neglected surroundings add a unique character, the noise factor remains a major complaint. For those who prioritize quiet over convenience, this may be a crucial consideration.
