Belle Etoile Villas offer a nice location centralized between the port and airport with breathtaking views of the caldera. The property is situated on the non-caldera side of the island, providing a more tranquil atmosphere away from the crowds. Although the hotel is a bit secluded, both Imerovigli and Fira are within walking distance; however, some caution is needed as the walk is steep on a dark road with a lot of traffic and no sidewalk. For those who don't have a car, it's recommended to rent one to explore the island and its many sites. The location of the hotel is not ideal, as the road is busy and narrow, making it dangerous to walk along to get to Imerovigli and the bus stop. Additionally, it's a far walk to the nearest restaurant and shops, but it's only a short drive to Oia and Fira. The location is perfect if you want to discover the island, but it's not in the center. Overall, Belle Etoile Villas offer a nice secluded location with breath-taking views, but a vehicle is necessary to be mobile during your stay.
