Belisana stands out as a charming hotel beautifully nestled in a prime location at the heart of Ixtapan de la Sal, offering guests easy access to a variety of attractions, including the spa and water park. Its central position is ideal for travelers eager to explore nearby beaches, Roman baths, shops, and restaurants. The hotel's appealing surroundings complement the warm, inviting atmosphere created by friendly and attentive staff, universally praised for their hospitality and service. With their efforts, the stay becomes memorable, blending comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service seamlessly.
Guests consistently commend Belisana for its spacious and comfortable rooms, highlighting the cleanliness throughout the hotel, especially in the well-maintained pool area and facilities. Despite the vintage charm, potential improvements in certain areas such as bedding comfort and minor maintenance issues are suggested. However, these do not overshadow the generally positive ambiance and overall guest satisfaction, with many expressing eagerness to return.
Dining at Belisana adds to the positive experience, with particular commendation for the Mexican-style breakfast and dinner offerings. Guests enjoy the tasty and hearty meals, characterized by homemade flavors and generous portions. The dining experience is further enhanced by the attentive service provided by the staff, although extending breakfast hours and introducing more variety could improve guest convenience.
Families find Belisana exceptionally welcoming, thanks to spacious interiors that accommodate relaxation and play, along with a lovely pool suitable for children and adults alike. The tranquil and safe surroundings offer a perfect retreat for families, with staff ensuring everyone feels valued and comfortable.
While Wi-Fi services receive mixed reviews, highlighting areas for improvement in connectivity, the overall package of location, service, and affordability makes it a worthy choice for budget-conscious travelers. Belisana’s reasonable rates, charming atmosphere, and strategic location ensure that it remains a gem in Ixtapan de la Sal, delivering notable value and warmth to those who visit.
