Long Mountain Centre Log Cabins provides an idyllic retreat nestled within a stunning rural setting, offering guests the perfect escape with breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. The location, although requiring a journey along a single-track road, rewards visitors with serene beauty and privacy ideal for a tranquil family getaway or a break from the fast pace of daily life. Guests frequently laud the picturesque scenery and abundance of wildlife, enhancing the peaceful and refreshing ambiance.
The cabins themselves are consistently praised for their cleanliness and cozy atmosphere. Spotless and well-equipped, these cabins provide ample space and comfort, meeting the high expectations of guests. While the accommodations are mostly exceptional, some isolated incidents regarding kitchen hygiene have been noted, but they do not detract from the overall positive consensus. The enchanting surroundings, complemented by grazing horses, enrich the rural experience, making it a top choice for those seeking solitude and relaxation.
Staff at Long Mountain Centre Log Cabins, led by the friendly proprietors Jackie and Gavin, are celebrated for their outstanding hospitality. Their responsive and welcoming nature significantly enhances the guest experience, with attention to detail ensuring visitors feel well cared for from the onset of their stay. This commitment to excellent service fosters a warm and accommodating environment.
While the overall comfort of the cabins is widely appreciated, feedback on the beds reveals a mixed experience. Although some guests find the beds extremely comfortable, others have noted issues with the mattresses due to their old spring type, which can detract from the sleeping experience. Addressing this concern could further elevate the quality of stay. Nevertheless, Long Mountain Centre Log Cabins remains a cherished destination for those yearning for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape amidst breathtaking natural beauty.
