Although advertised as a 5-star luxury resort, some guests felt that the facilities and services did not meet this standard. The gym and pool areas were not up to 5-star standard and there were additional charges for spa access, which some guests found odd for a 5* hotel. The breakfast quality was poor and plastic bottles of water had to be bought without being served with a glass. Some guests experienced mediocre food and overpriced drinks and some even found the hotel overpriced. Additionally, the service wasn't to the level of a 5-star international hotel and some staff didn't speak English properly, making communication difficult. Despite this, some guests have had an exceptional experience and highly recommend the hotel.
