Breakfast highlights include fresh fruit, delicious pastries and thoughtful touches like ginger shots and breakfast bags for early departures, making it a delightful start to the day.
The rooms at the hotel garner mixed reviews, but many guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfort and cozy, old-fashioned ambiance. Issues like room temperature control and noise from traffic can interfere with comfort, yet the staff's friendliness and the hotel's maritime theme add to its charm.
Cleanliness generally receives positive sentiments from guests, who note the well-maintained and fresh atmosphere. However, there are occasional mentions of specific cleaning lapses, such as dusty areas and mold in showers, indicating inconsistency in housekeeping standards.
The hotel's staff is another highlight, frequently praised for their friendliness, professionalism and exceptional service. They are noted for being welcoming, attentive and helpful, contributing significantly to a positive guest experience.

When it comes to bed comfort, guests often commend the hotel for its comfortable and cozy beds, which contribute to a good night’s sleep. However, some guests find the double beds narrower than expected.
Best Western Sjofartshotellet also stands out for its dog-friendly facilities, providing special amenities and a warm welcome for furry companions, making it a suitable choice for pet owners.
While the hotel offers good value for money and a central location, providing an overall satisfactory experience, some facilities and services may not fully align with the usual standards associated with the Best Western brand. Despite these minor drawbacks, its combination of a great location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and dog-friendly amenities make it a popular choice for many travelers.
