Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Ronco Dell'Abate - Lake Como Relais B&B is widely admired for its idyllic location, combining countryside charm with a peaceful garden setting offering breathtaking views of Como. The beautifully maintained mansion provides exceptional service thanks to the attentive owner and staff, making guests feel welcome in a serene environment ideal for relaxation. Although the Relais is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Como, this distance is often deemed a small trade-off for its tranquil, elevated, picturesque locale.
The breakfast experience is highly acclaimed, with offerings described as delicious, extensive, and beautifully presented, creating a memorable start to the day. The personalized choices of eggs and coffee add a special touch, and while some note a limited selection, guests appreciate the fresh, homemade quality of the food.
The spacious rooms, with their unique decor and vintage style featuring antique furniture, provide guests with a feeling of living in a medieval villa coupled with modern comforts. Large terraces or balconies offer spectacular views, and the family suite stands out for its comfort and space. Despite minor critiques of lighting and temperature control, the rooms' charm and historical preservation contribute to an unforgettable experience.
Cleanliness is generally praised, with the establishment maintaining a spotless environment. However, a few reviews suggest minor housekeeping improvements. The Relais combines a tranquil, clean setting with historical elegance, complemented by stylish furniture and modern bathrooms.
The welcoming staff at Ronco Dell'Abate enhance the serene atmosphere of the property. Their cheerfulness and attentiveness make guests feel at home, with personalized service consistently praised. From reception to breakfast service, the staff's commitment leaves a lasting impression of gracious hospitality.
Parking at the Relais is a notable advantage, with on-site availability and an electric car charger catering to eco-friendly travelers. While the parking area is small and maneuvering can be tricky, it serves the purpose effectively.
Though the Wi-Fi connection is identified as a drawback, often unstable and limited in parts of the room, this does not detract significantly from the overall positive experience. Ronco Dell'Abate remains a charming retreat for those seeking relaxation in a stylish and picturesque environment.
