Canelands Beach Club is the ultimate beach lovers' paradise, offering a location that cannot be beaten. The hotel is situated on the beachfront, allowing you to indulge in stunning views of the ocean. The service from the staff is exceptional and the location is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The seafacing rooms are highly recommended for the complete beach experience. Guests are spoilt for choice with a variety of good restaurants and shopping venues, all in close proximity. The hotel boasts the best location on the North Coast with great views of the ocean. The setting is magical, making it one of the most beautiful locations in Ballito and Umgebung. Tidal pools and swimming beaches are within walking distance, making it extremely convenient for travellers. Room No. 9 offers an incredible ocean view, adding to the experience of being in such a lovely location. In summary, this hotel has an excellent location on the beach that guests adore.

Breakfast

If you're looking for a hotel with a wholesome breakfast, look no further than Canelands Beach Club. With an excellent choice of breakfast options, you'll be pleased with the variety provided. However, a few guests mentioned that the breakfast could use a wider selection of fresh fruit, cheeses and pastries. The preparation for some specific dishes was disappointing, but the fry-up was stunning.

While some guests were disappointed with the limited options or lack of variety, others found the breakfast to be excellent. Awesome breakfasts were had by many and one guest even had their vegan food requests fulfilled. Although the breakfast may not be on the standard of a four-star hotel, overall, it was deemed good with lots of choices. Additionally, the fact that the hotel is pet-friendly and provides safe parking was appreciated.

If you're looking for a beachside resort with top-notch dining, Canelands Beach Club is a great option. While some guests felt that the main menu could have more variety and seafood options given the coastal location, overall the restaurant was highly praised. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food was exceptional with some guests even proclaiming it to be amazing. The restaurant provides a really good and great experience, plus dining by the sea provides a beautiful view. However, a few guests felt that the menu options were quite limited and expensive and that the Dorado fish served at dinner was dry and overcooked. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a memorable culinary experience, the Canelands Beach Club restaurant is a must-try.

Canelands Beach Club is a well-located accommodation option that offers comfortable, albeit small, rooms. The bedding is clean and staff are described as excellent. However, some rooms show signs of age and need updating with damaged cupboards, tired furnishings and peeling paint. Additionally, noise from the kitchen and reception can be heard in some rooms, which may disturb guests. The 'garden facing' rooms don't always offer garden views and can overlook a car wash or rubbish dump. Some rooms have problems with sliding doors, faulty aircon and unsafe electricals. Price-wise, some guests considered the accommodation overpriced. Nevertheless, some aspects of the rooms are appreciated, including the comfortable beds and picturesque sea views. Overall, guests would benefit from better room ergonomics, updated décor and improved soundproofing.
