The Eden Beach Khaolak Resort and Spa A Lopesan Collection Hotel – SHA Extra Plus, despite being marketed and priced as a five-star resort, does not consistently meet the expectations associated with this rating. Many guests feel that the hotel's standards, particularly in cleanliness and bathroom facilities, fall short of five-star quality. The food and drink prices are also considered excessive with specific criticism aimed at costs like 300 baht for a pad thai. There are positive sentiments about the overall coziness and quality of certain facilities, though these don't seem to justify the hotel's high pricing for a supposed five-star experience. The location also appears to be a drawback, as there isn't much to do within walking distance, making a stay of more than a few days unnecessarily lengthy. While some aspects of the stay may feel top-notch, the consensus is that the resort better fits a four-star classification.
