Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Granduca SPA & Parking has garnered a largely positive reception across several key aspects, making it a recommended destination for various types of travelers.
The hotel's strategic location near the historic center of Grosseto and major highways is highly praised. This location is convenient for both business and leisure travelers, including those visiting the nearby hospital. Easy access to the city center, along with practical amenities like free and ample parking, enhances the overall guest experience. Electric vehicle owners also benefit from the proximity to the Tesla Supercharger.
Guests generally appreciate the breakfast experience, citing its high quality and variety. Sufficient options for both sweet and savory items, including homemade cakes and an extensive buffet, create a satisfying start to the day. However, some feel there's room for improvement with more variety, particularly in savory options.
Dinner at the hotel is a highlight for many guests, who commend the on-site restaurant for its delicious food, generous portions and friendly service. The dining experience, including set menus and a fine selection of wines, receives high marks for quality and value. Although a few reviews mention limited menu variety and occasional high prices, the overall sentiment remains positive.
Accommodations at Hotel Granduca SPA & Parking receive mixed reviews. The rooms are noted for their spaciousness and cleanliness, but many guests feel that the decor is dated and in need of renovation. Despite older furnishings and occasional issues with noise and poor lighting, the cleanliness of both the rooms and common areas, including the spa and dining facilities, is widely appreciated.
The hotel staff receives extensive praise for their exceptional friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism. Guests consistently highlight the staff's helpful and welcoming nature, significantly enhancing the overall atmosphere and guest satisfaction.
Internet connectivity at the hotel varies with some guests praising the WiFi as reliable and fast, while others report issues with weak signals and poor connectivity, particularly on higher floors.
The spa is a standout feature, offering a modern and welcoming atmosphere with excellent services that guests frequently describe as fantastic and relaxing. Though small, the spa provides a cozy and highly praised wellness experience, albeit with some minor maintenance issues.
The gym is well-equipped and modern, appealing to fitness enthusiasts, although it could benefit from additional equipment and improved ventilation.
Parking options at the hotel are consistently praised for being spacious, secure and often free, adding to the convenience for guests travelling by car.
The hotel is also recognized as family-friendly with spacious and comfortable family rooms available at reasonable rates. However, some guests suggest caution with potentially hazardous cabinets for children.
The comfort of the beds receives mixed reviews. Many guests find them comfortable and spacious, but there are several complaints about worn-out mattresses and outdated bed frames affecting sleep quality.
Overall, while the hotel presents many positives and helpful amenities, some aspects like room decor and bed quality suggest a gap in meeting four-star expectations. Nonetheless, Hotel Granduca SPA & Parking maintains a strong reputation for its excellent service, convenient location and quality dining and wellness facilities.
