If you're looking for a peaceful and serene getaway in South Africa, Phumelo Lodge might just be the perfect destination. Located in a beautiful and exceptional area, the lodge is perfectly situated overlooking the Mabalingwe reserve. The views from the reception area alone are stunning with the added bonus of wildlife sightings such as elephants and monkeys. The lodge is situated in the midst of nature, providing a tranquil atmosphere and the opportunity for wild animals to roam around freely. It's a great location for a fantastic getaway far away from any noise. However, guests should be aware that the 7km gravel road to access the lodge needs some work, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. The signage leading to the lodge could be improved as well, as it can be confusing for first-time visitors. Despite these minor inconveniences, Phumelo Lodge is a beautiful location with a great mountain view that guests will surely appreciate.
