Hostellerie du Grünewald presents a mixture of impressions among its guests. Despite being a four-star establishment, several reviewers express that it falls short of typical four-star standards. Highlights include the hotel's wonderful atmosphere, stylish and nicely furnished facilities and well-maintained conditions. However, some guests point out that the amenities and services do not quite align with the expected four-star experience.
While the hotel boasts luxurious rooms and an excellent range in terms of facilities, certain aspects such as the lack of closets, noisy rooms and absence of bar or restaurant services on holidays have been disappointing for those anticipating a higher standard. Moreover, the breakfast service does not live up to the four-star rating, adding to the overall sentiment that there's a gap between the hotel's rating and its actual offerings.
The pricing also seems to be a point of contention with some finding it expensive given the limited selection and the quality provided. Despite these criticisms, there are still positive remarks on the overall value and recommendation for a four-star getaway, indicating that the hotel does have its appealing points against a competitive hospitality landscape in Luxembourg. Overall, the hotel oscillates between a solid four-star promise and delivering an experience that some feel aligns more closely with budget accommodations.

Despite the prestigious four-star ranking, 'DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg' garners mixed feedback regarding its facilities and services. Many guests express that the hotel does not meet the typical Hilton standards, often doubting its four-star status. While some reviews highlight the presence of a fitness room, pool and deluxe suites, others note that the hotel appears outdated and in need of renovation. Positive reviews commend the hotel staff for being wonderfully managed and always maintaining a positive demeanor. However, several guests feel the services and amenities fall short, mentioning issues such as broken toilet flushes and meager breakfasts. The restaurant also reportedly lacks options catered to children and overall, the offerings are often described as fairly standard or ordinary for a four-star establishment. It seems there is a consensus that while the hotel has four-star potential, it currently does not fully deliver on that promise.
