Château de Madières - Châteauzen, situated in a tranquil and picturesque setting, offers an enchanting escape with its captivating charm and serene ambiance. The beautifully restored chateau boasts breathtaking views of the Vis River, blending historical richness with modern comforts. Guests are enamored by the stunning scenery and well-maintained facilities, including a delightful swimming pool area that provides a perfect retreat for relaxation. The pool, complemented by a meditation platform, hammam, and sauna, stands out as a highlight, offering a refreshing and soothing experience.
The culinary offerings at Château de Madières - Châteauzen receive high praise, with breakfast being noted for its generous and diverse selection. Guests enjoy top-quality local products, particularly the cheeses, and appreciate dining on the terrace with stunning views. Dinner at the chateau delights with excellent and flavorful dishes, thanks to a standout chef and a unique menu each night, creating memorable dining experiences despite some critiques on limited options.
Spacious, comfortable rooms contribute to the overall luxury, with guests highlighting their grandeur and cleanliness. While some mention a preference for softer bedding, the high ceilings, ample storage, and quality shower products enhance the stay. Although the absence of air conditioning is noted, the rooms remain pleasantly cool, with charming and carefully renovated furnishings adding to the ambiance.
Château de Madières - Châteauzen's staff is consistently commended for their professionalism, warmth, and personalized hospitality. Friendly and accommodating, they strive to ensure the comfort and well-being of guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the chateau. However, WiFi connectivity poses a challenge, offering weak coverage in some areas, particularly in the rooms. Despite this, the enchanting location provides an ideal environment for disconnecting from digital distractions and immersing in nature's beauty.
