Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Grand Cakra Hotel Malang enjoys praise for its strategic location, offering guests a peaceful retreat while being conveniently close to essential amenities like shopping malls, supermarkets, and restaurants. The hotel makes it easy for guests to explore the local area, with nearby attractions such as Starbucks and other popular spots enhancing its appeal.
The breakfast experience is generally well-received, with guests appreciating the extensive buffet that caters to various tastes with both Eastern and Western options. The quality of the food is often admired, and the opportunity to dine with a view of the swimming pool adds to the enjoyment. However, there are suggestions for a bit more menu variety to cater to all culinary preferences.
Rooms at the hotel are spacious and comfortable, receiving accolades for their cleanliness and the effective soundproofing that ensures a peaceful stay. Guests find the design simple yet adequate, with rooms equipped to meet diverse needs. While bathroom cleanliness occasionally comes under critique, the overall comfort and size of the rooms leave most visitors satisfied.
The hotel's service truly shines, with the staff receiving consistent praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. Their accommodating nature and positive attitudes significantly contribute to a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for guests.
However, the hotel has areas needing improvement. Cleanliness receives mixed reviews; while some parts of the property maintain satisfactory standards, there are concerns about towels, bed sheets, and air conditioning. Maintenance issues, particularly in bathrooms, suggest a need for more consistent upkeep. The Wi-Fi service disappoints many guests, with frequent disconnections and unstable connections highlighting the need for technological enhancements.
The swimming pool provides a mixed experience, appreciated for its cleanliness and flexible use policy, yet sometimes marred by maintenance issues such as water quality and broken facilities. More consistent pool maintenance could enhance guest satisfaction.
Overall, Grand Cakra Hotel Malang offers a favorable stay with its convenient location, excellent service, and comfortable rooms, although it could benefit from improvements in cleanliness, Wi-Fi, and pool maintenance to further elevate the guest experience.
