Guests enjoyed playing volleyball and having food and drinks served poolside. The pool was refreshing but too cold for some guests in September. However, a few guests noted that the pool could have been cleaned more frequently. Families with children appreciated the separate children's pool and even suggested adding water slides. There were also ant problems reported on occasion. Overall, the pool and spa facilities were excellent with some guests raving about the wonderful pool while others found it to be average. Some guests noted that there was a salty taste to the pool water. Unfortunately, reserving lounge chairs with towels was a common issue with many guests not showing up until later in the day. Despite this, the pool and pool area were generally beautiful and the hotel was in close proximity to lovely beaches and the beach promenade.
