Breakfast
If you're looking for delicious food during your stay at Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa, look no further than the hotel's restaurants. Many guests raved about the excellent food with some even choosing to eat at the hotel every day. While breakfast isn't included in the price, those who did enjoy it were treated to a big spread overlooking the ocean from the deck. The only downside reported by some was that the breakfast started a bit late for their liking. However, the overall dining experience at the hotel was reported to be very good with pickled vegetables being a standout choice. While there could be more choices for breakfast, the amenities, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms made up for it. Just be aware that complimentary coffee is only available for a limited time in the morning.

Dinner
Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa offers a variety of dining options for guests, including their Whiteclover restaurant, which offers delicious meals that are sure to be memorable. Guests have enjoyed dining at the Salty Stag with both breakfast and dinner being very good. One guest even worked with the chef to get a meal that was tailored to their taste. While some guests felt that the food was overpriced and mediocre, others couldn't get enough of the cocktails and awesome southern dishes. Sadly, the main dining room was closed for weddings during some guests' stays, which left them with fewer options. Despite some negative reviews, Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa is still an excellent choice for those looking for a great dining experience on their vacation.

Rooms
Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa offers a range of accommodations, some with beautiful views of the ocean. Guests loved the spacious rooms, which were larger than expected and some even had fireplaces. Many found their rooms to be clean and comfortable, perfect for families and pets. Some rooms even had covered cove porches or balconies overlooking the bay. While some guests felt the accommodations were in need of updates or renovations, others found them cozy and charming. The bathrooms and showers received compliments for being great, but others commented that they were dated. Housekeeping received high praise with many guests noting the clean and well-maintained rooms. Overall, the rooms were found to be comfortable and sufficient with a few potential areas for improvement.

Beds
At the Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa, guests can rest easy on comfortable beds that provide the perfect amount of support. The bedding is top notch, ensuring a good night's sleep for all. Although there were some issues with saggy or lumpy pillows, overall guests rave about the comfort of the beds. Rooms come equipped with either queen or king-size beds, giving guests plenty of space to stretch out and relax. While there were a few reports of pull out couches with thin mattresses, this did not detract from the overall comfort of the hotel's sleeping arrangements. Whether you're looking to catch up on some much-needed rest or simply enjoy a cozy night in, the beds at Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa are sure to please.

Cleanliness
As we arrived at the Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa, we were delighted with the cleanliness and coziness of our room. The chamber maid did an outstanding job and we felt right at home in our quaint surroundings. Although some guests mentioned that they noticed a strange smell in their rooms, we didn't have any issues with that. Despite limited housekeeping due to the pandemic, we were pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The amenities, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were top-notch and the pools were pristine. However, some areas just outside the rooms were dirty and unkept and trash was not collected as often as it should have been. We believe that the staff should be sweeping the property daily to maintain its cleanliness. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but some guests mentioned the need for an update and a better maintenance regime to keep the hotel up to par.

Staff
The Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa is renowned for its exceptional staff. Guests rave about the friendly and accommodating service throughout the hotel with many praising the outstanding service in the White Clover restaurant. While a few reviews mentioned minor issues with wait staff being slow or forgetful, these were the exception rather than the rule. Most guests found the staff to be delightful with many particular mentions of their exceptional service and personable nature. Unfortunately, a couple of reviews noted rude or unprofessional behavior, but these were clearly outliers. Overall, the staff at the Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa are a definite highlight with many guests remarking on how they contributed to a wonderful stay.

Wi-Fi
While there were some mixed reviews about the wifi at Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa, the general consensus is that it could use some improvement. Some guests found the wifi to be highly variable with poor to non-existent connections at times. However, others noted that the hotel does have an open wifi network available. Some guests mentioned that the signal was not strong enough, but it seems that the hotel has taken steps to improve this by adding extenders. Overall, the main issue appears to be a question of capacity rather than any specific internet problem. Despite this small inconvenience, Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa is still a wonderful choice for a relaxing getaway.

Pool
Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa boasts a great pool area that guests really enjoy during their stay. The heated pools offer fun water activities and guests can even use the water sports equipment for free. Although some felt that the pools were small and a bit crowded, many still loved the little pool by the ocean which was very enjoyable, especially during hot tub sessions at sunset. The friendly and knowledgeable guy working at the pool area is a plus, however, the pool seating was limited and there were no fresh towels available. It's worth noting that pools don't open until 9 am so early birds will have to wait a bit. While some thought the pool areas were okay, kids loved the pools and the neglect of the pool area didn't bother them as much.

Family
Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa boasts an impressive range of activities suitable for all ages, making it the perfect destination for families looking for a fun-filled vacation. With a family-friendly atmosphere, guests can enjoy an abundance of options for relaxation and adventure. The resort offers great opportunities for walking and families returning next summer are sure to appreciate the range of fun activities on offer, including the perfect game room for groups or children to enjoy. Children specifically will love the s’mores station and playground, as well as the swimming pools. The rooms are also dog-friendly, which is great for families who like to bring their furry friends along on vacation. While some amenities mentioned in the write-up were not available, the resort more than makes up for it with its fun and friendly atmosphere. This is truly the perfect spot to recharge and enjoy a relaxing family vacation.
