The Connaught Lodge hotel comes with a lovely spa and pool that is a favourite among guests. The swimming pool is of a good size and provides a great opportunity for a lovely afternoon swim. Some guests have noted that the pool was a little cold, others loved the addition of a hot tub and steam sauna. The pool and leisure facilities are clean and well-maintained - perfect for relaxation. However, the cleanliness of the pool has been a concern for some as sand, dirt and grime have been observed at the bottom of the pool. The changing rooms, in particular, are in need of some renovation, as they look tired and one of the showers was not in use. Despite this, the pool area is an excellent place to relax with rattan recliners available. The location of the hotel, along with parking, good breakfast and evening meals and the lovely pool make it an ideal spot for a short break.
